Yesterday I met with colleagues who work for UNFPA. Their offices are located in the same building that Daddy worked in nearly 40 years ago.
I kept looking around thinking, "is this what he saw?" Trying to imagine and soak it in, wishing we could talk shop over some injera.

Your Grandfather would be so proud of you. You would be polite, but appalled by his politics. Africa is such a huge problem. 40 years after he was there you are posting pictures identical to the ones he took. So much misery and so difficult to bring people together for a solution.
