Both this man to the right and I fall into the second category and, as a result, I (and probably this man) have the dubious honor of “seeing” the entire Louvre in less than 45 minutes. Twice.
But, luckily, I have a mother and sister who work hard to keep me honest and cultured - one of whom took me to the Dublin Art Museum.

Plus a guy name Paul Henry. If any of you love me you will immediately buy me one of his paintings. To encourage my sense of artistry and culture, of course.
