Meet Chauncey.
Chauncey came from a home where he was 'friends' with 2 pit bulls and 3 kids under 3. Or something similarly traumatic I mean character building.
Chauncey is now David's dog. All that character building has left him a little needy I mean very emotionally available.
Related to this, Chauncey (1) doesn't know he's a dog and (2) thinks he is David's lover.
His undying love for David is adorably creepy. We are fairly sure that if he had opposable thumbs the love would quite quickly just become creepy.
