I used to wonder what Pioneers did for fun. No TV, only the Bible to read (sorry, but...well, you know...), square dancing once a quarter or something. According to "7 Brides for 7 Brothers" they sang while chopping wood? But I can't say for sure if that's totally authentic.
So, anyhow, I now know. They watched The Jens Show. Which is to say, they gathered around their small children and played terrible mind games that they at some point mostly likely paid for in the form of expensive therapy:
